Cerro Armazones seen from the Paranal platform
This distant view of the future home of the E-ELT was taken in late November 2014 from the platform of ESO’s nearby Paranal Observatory. The levelling of the summit of Cerro Armazones is well advanced.
One of the VLTI Auxiliary Telescopes is visible in the foreground.
