Universal CLUES

The CLUES (Constrained Local UniversE Simulations) project aims to provide constrained simulations of the local universe. In other words, computer programs are written and run, producing simulations of how the universe will behave based on certain rules and limitations. The predictions of these experiments can then easily be compared with the detailed observations of our local universe. The simulations which compare well to what we can actually observe can tell us a lot about aspects of the universe which cannot be observed directly - such as dark matter.
