Work on Cerro Armazones seen from Paranal
This image of the future home of the E-ELT was taken in late November 2014 from the platform of ESO’s nearby Paranal Observatory. The levelling of the summit of Cerro Armazones is well advanced and one of the VLTI Auxiliary Telescopes appears in the foreground.
