Coudé Spectrograph
The Coudé Spectrograph was installed on the coudé focus of the ESO 1.52-metre telescope at La Silla Observatory in early 1969. The first reference spectra were obtained in May 1969.
Different gratings, each one covering a part of the visible and infrared range, on three different cameras were available to this spectrograph. The cameras were equipped with photographic plates as detectors.
The Coudé Spectrograph was decommissioned from the ESO 1.52-metre telescope in mid 1980s.
