Swiss T70 telescope (decommissioned)
The Swiss T70 telescope was installed on La Silla in 1980, replacing the Swiss 0.4-metre telescope, the previous Swiss national telescope. Like the Swiss 0.4-metre telescope, this telescope was equipped with the P7 photometer, which is a two-channel photometer for quasi-simultaneous measurements in the 7-filter Geneva photometric system. In 1998, when the Swiss 1.2-metre Leonhard Euler Telescope became operational at La Silla, the Swiss T70 telescope was decommissioned.
